Will Forte has landed a role in the new Netflix comedy series “The Four Seasons,” joining Tina Fey and Steve Carell in the cast. The show, based on the 1981 film written and directed by Alan Alda, will be produced by Universal Studio Group’s Universal Television and Fey’s Little Stranger production company.

In addition to his recent appearance in Netflix’s “Bodkin,” Forte is known for his work on “Saturday Night Live,” “Last Man on Earth,” “Sweet Tooth,” and “MacGruber.” The series, which has been given an eight-episode order by Netflix, is set to start production later this year.

“The Four Seasons” follows three married couples who vacation together each season, but their dynamic is disrupted when one of the husbands leaves his wife for a younger woman. Alongside Forte, Fey, Carell, Colman Domingo, Kerri Kenney-Silver, and Erika Henningsen are also part of the cast.

Forte’s extensive experience in comedy, including voice roles in Netflix’s “Thelma The Unicorn” and Fox’s “The Great North,” as well as his Emmy-nominated performance in “The Last Man on Earth,” makes him a valuable addition to the ensemble cast. With an impressive list of credits, including films like “Nebraska” and animated projects such as “The Willoughbys” and “The Lego Movie,” Forte’s versatility as an actor is well-documented.

Represented by UTA and other agencies, Forte’s involvement in “The Four Seasons” adds another layer of talent to an already star-studded lineup. As fans eagerly await the release of the series, Forte’s contributions are sure to bring laughter and entertainment to audiences worldwide.
