Xuan-Lan went from working for ten years in the banking and marketing to devote himself body and soul to yoga. The second book of Xuan-Lan ‘Yoga for my well-being,’ How has been the experience to include everything you know about yoga in a number of pages limited?I’ve had to cut back quite a lot (laughter) because this book is more dense in information and therefore the editorial has given me more pages so that it is quite a book full. I have compiled my information as a teacher and practitioner and the questions and comments I make to my students and followers.What this second book is a continuation of the first?The first book was a plan of four weeks to incorporate yoga in your day-to-day, but everyone had to do the same, with this you do at your own pace, there are 15 chapters that can be done and reading in a disorderly way and be specific topics of everyday life is more simple. There are some specific chapters for back pain or for sleep problems, for example. The idea is that people integrate good habits of healthy living to achieve a well-being.You have a master’s degree in business management and you used to work in banking, what has given you the yoga to leave this life?I enjoyed a lot the life of executive corporate. I have lived the life of the girl stressed out that she was going to the office doing overtime, and doing yoga to find a balance. And now I make well-being, yoga and tricks to this stressed people. The change has been brutal, but the passion and the dedication to make things go well.What is the message mandarías a person who does not know the yoga to begin to practice it?I’m going to ensure that if you practiced yoga for a few week you will feel good physically and mentally. I don’t know anyone that has not made any effect, but you have to be very open minded and go without bias. If you let yourself go you can discover new corners of your mind and your body.Do you have to be flexible to practice yoga?For nothing, yoga is to help recover the flexibility that we have lost with the age and with the sedentary lifestyle. The majority of sports make the same movements and in the same sense, yoga allows you to other movements and work the joints in a soft way.Why is the food and the music are good add-ons to get the welfare?Well-being is not only physical health, is a concept that integrates mental health, physical, and spiritual. You have to remember the people who have to take care of the body with the physical exercise, but also the power and the mind. Everything is connected, the power not only to take care of the extra pounds of more.Training the mind does not seem easy, how to get?Think of the people who do mental arithmetic, do operations that we need to do with the calculator, and it’s because they have been trained. As you train to run a marathon, also trains the mind. The brain is a muscle that has multiple parts that will develop: memory, concentration, calculation, compassion, anguish… If you train your mind to reorder this, determines the segregation of stress hormones and improvements the capacity of compassion, friendship, and empathy all can be achieved.How much time should I devote a day of yoga to achieve this balance between mind and body?A minimum of five minutes a day of meditation and do a few postures to awaken the body. Yoga offers the opportunity to move the body in a conscious way, slow and controlled to not hurt you and adapt to your time, routine and needs.What it has meant to you to be the profesroa of the boys of ‘bloopers’?I have not changed anything directly because in the academy we are not on a television set. But yes I’ve noticed that there are people who have discovered yoga through ‘Operation Triumph’ and it is a satisfaction to be able to transmit this practice.Do you know if a contestant of last year’s edition has continued to practice?They are now busy with concerts, activities, promotion and do not have the time to devote to a regular practice, but I say they’re still trying to apply some things from breathing and relaxation, and they miss the massages that were made during the course. What in your daily life you also use comfortable clothing or you prefer to fix?I’ve gotten used to the comfortable clothes. Before when I was in the bank didn’t leave the house without my heels and make-up, now I have a large collection of running shoes.
