Helene Fischer (37) celebrates her big TV comeback on Saturday – it couldn’t be more appropriate in Florian Silbereisen’s (40) show “Das Große Schlagercomeback.2022”. It is now known: “Riverboat” presenter Kim Fisher (53) will also appear on the show. With her close friend Peter Plate (55) she will perform her new song “I’m here”.
The Rosenstolz singer is also celebrating a great return: after burnout and anxiety attacks, Plate will be performing live on a TV stage for the first time in almost ten years. Fisher and Plate’s duet is also featured on the singer’s new album, Was fürs Leben, out July 22. The song was penned by Peter Plate and his songwriting partner Ulf Sommer (51).
It’s about the unconditional support for someone in crisis, which Fisher immediately found himself in. She also suffered from anxiety in her early 20s. “And then I said, dear Peter, we actually have to sing it together, we both have our pants full, come on, let’s take our hands and do it now,” she is quoted as saying in a press release.
After a long break from TV, there is also a reunion with Nena (62) in “Das Große Schlagercomeback.2022”, who, according to the announcement, will sing “her greatest hits” alongside ESC legend Nicole (57) and Helene Fischer. Other stars that Florian Silbereisen can welcome to his show are Maite Kelly (42), Vicky Leandros (69) and Ross Antony (48).
The viewers should also look forward to “many more stars, hits, surprises and comebacks”. The Eurovision show from Leipzig, commissioned by MDR and BR in cooperation with ORF, will be broadcast live on Saturday, July 23 at 8:15 p.m. on the first channel.
