Journalist and historian Alexandre Adler is dead

Journalist and historian Alexandre Adler, a specialist in international relations, the former USSR and the Middle East, died on Tuesday at the age of 72, his wife, philosopher Blandine Kriegel, told Agence France-Presse (AFP). . He died at the Georges-Pompidou European Hospital in Paris. The journalist was currently working on an “almost completed treatise on geopolitics”, according to Blandine Kriegel, joined by AFP.

The causes of his death were not specified.
