TV star Nick Knowles recently suffered a bicep injury while changing a flat tire on the way to a family party. Despite the injury, he remains hopeful that he can continue in the Strictly Come Dancing competition. Knowles joked that he might perform dance lifts with one arm during the next show to work around his injury.

During an appearance on Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two, Knowles explained how he damaged his bicep and arm while trying to change the tire quickly due to the rainy weather and passing lorries. He expressed gratitude to the policemen who assisted him during the incident.

Knowles, who recently jived on the show’s 20th-anniversary series, announced his injury on Instagram and went for a scan and medical advice. Although the extent of his injury is uncertain, he is optimistic about dancing on Saturday’s episode.

His professional dance partner, Luba Mushtuk, mentioned that they could still perform lifts using his right arm and adapt their routine accordingly. Mushtuk even joked about “sparkling” the sling that Knowles was wearing.

Despite the challenges posed by his injury, Knowles and Mushtuk are determined to make their performance work. Mushtuk mentioned that they could do one-arm lifts since Knowles is strong and she is light.
