BDP politician Timo Steinlin to the moor’s head-debate – view

racism has many shades. For me, the solution is not to ban just the Blackies from the racks. So that means that we have less problems with racism. And when older people call the Sweetness Mohr heads, you are not racist necessarily.

In the racism debate is Nelson Mandela a role model. After 27 years in prison he felt the need to take revenge on people with white skin color. Instead, he sought the conversation and later became President of South Africa for white and black people. This is the example the world should follow.

The riots and demonstrations that began in the United States and the world a Wake-up call, to dark-skinned people everywhere a voice and justice. I support this motion in principle. But hatred and violence do not lead to peaceful solutions or to that recognition, the calling dark-skinned people. But to even more hatred and division.

We need to go all the way and together solutions for equality searches.

The Bernese computer scientist Timo Steinlin (27) politicized in the Board of Directors of the young BDP Canton of Bern.
