Brexiteers and Jo to Johnson’s house of lords proposals

The British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson is accused in the filling of new members of the upper house of nepotism. He has, according to critics, 36 especially loyal Brexit supporters as well as his brother Jo on the proposal list for the House of Lords. It is likely to swell in order to 830 members – previously, there have been demands to reduce the size of the house of lords.

“We don’t need the 830 people”, scolded by the speaker of the upper house, Lord Norman Fowler, in a BBC Interview. “This is ridiculous, because there are far too many for our tasks.” Thus, the house of lords would have in the future, about 200 more members than the lower house with his deputies. Most of the members of the upper house are about 70 years old and many of them are very active.

The MP is Pete Wishart of the Scottish national party (SNP) accused Johnson, the “worst Form of nepotism”. Jo Johnson was joined by 2019 from the Cabinet; he saw the Brexit plans of his brother last is very critical.
