Espionage on military premises?: Two Russians and one Ukrainian arrested in Albania

Two Russian and one Ukrainian citizen have been arrested near a military base in Albania, a member of NATO. Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama said the three arrested were suspected of espionage. The two men and one woman are 24, 25 and 33 years old, according to the Defense Department. The two soldiers were taken to a hospital in Tirana with eye injuries.

The further investigations led to the 33-year-old Russian and the 25-year-old Ukrainian, who were arrested at a checkpoint in a car during subsequent road closures, as the authority announced on Facebook.
