Kailyn Lowry Pregnant: ‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Feared Miscarriage With Baby No. 3, Refuses To Identify Dad

Following continuous speculation, “Teen Mom 2” star Kailyn Lowry has confirmed that she is pregnant with her third child. However, it turns out that the MTV star was keeping her pregnancy a secret out of fear that she would have another miscarriage.

Lowry discussed her concerns about her pregnancy with The Ashley’s Reality Roundup on Thursday. “I was scared more than anything. For the first 12 weeks I checked for blood every time I went to the bathroom. I was scared to announce the pregnancy, and lose the baby,” she told the site.

“After seeing how little support I had during [my miscarriage with Javi’s baby], I truly thought I was done having kids and would finish school and focus on other things,” she said.

In March 2016, the television personality opened up about her miscarriage with then husband Javi Marroquin, revealing an event like that “takes an emotional toll” on a family. At the time, she told People that she would like to have a third child but was focusing on growing and maturing as a person.

Following complications, the reality star was notified that her chances of carrying a baby to term were slim. “I realized that I did want another child eventually,” she told The Ashley.

“I was told that as I get older, my chances of conceiving and carrying to term will be less Betasus and less. Long story short, the person I was with and I took the chance to see if I could get pregnant,” the “Teen Mom 2” star explained. “I know this isn’t the ideal situation, but those close to me have been very supportive and understanding.”

Now that she is pregnant, Kail has said she wants to keep things positive in her life and will continue to surround herself with supportive people.

Lowry, who is halfway through her third pregnancy, has yet to reveal the identity of her baby’s father. She shares sons Lincoln, 3, with Javi and Isaac, 6, with ex Jo Rivera.
