Lately I feel like I am living in an alternative reality show based on a fictitious place, circumstances, facts and people. Are we being played by Washington?
The alternative reality show promotes irreconcilable differences that keep us in separate camps based on lies, exaggerations and innuendos about the other side. The show prohibits two sides from communicating, trusting, collaborating and problem solving. With the help of our paid-off political representatives in Washington, the country has followed the show’s script to the letter. Many have accepted the divided nature of our alternative reality that all our country’s problems are caused by the other side. As long as “We the People” are focused on the other side, we will never solve our nation’s real problems.
“We the People” have more in common than we have differences. I believe most of our country’s problems are caused by a dozen mega-rich who control our media, politicians and perceptions. Rather than fight with the other side, we need to unite, share ideas, communicate and collaborate to solve our problems. Let us take back our country. The controlling mega-rich are the problem and not the solution.
