Storms and floods: the Bouches-du-Rhône placed in orange vigilance

After the Lyon metropolis, the Pyrénées-Atlantiques and Paris, it is the turn of the Bouches-du-Rhône to be threatened by bad weather. Météo-France has placed the Bouches-du-Rhône on orange vigilance for rain-flooding and thunderstorms this Tuesday at the end of the day.

“Heavily rainy storms occur in the south of the country, in particular the Bouches-du-Rhône where the accumulations become worrying”, writes Météo-France. “A stormy line stretches along the Durance and over the Trets sector. It takes on a stationary character and gives significant accumulations, specify the meteorologists, with the wet contribution coming from the coast. Persistence of the phenomenon possible until 7:30 p.m., bringing 20 to 50 mm more, i.e. around 150 mm locally. »
