The rainy episode will linger in the eastern half of the country on Friday, according to Météo-France, which forecasts very nice sunny spells in the west.
The disturbance at work will continue to bring light rain to the Massif Central, Rhône-Alpes, Franche-Comté, Lorraine and Alsace, with some snow in the mountains above 800 to 1,100 meters from North to south. These showers from the trailing sky will begin to slide towards Hauts-de-France and Champagne-Ardenne.
The greyness will be numerous on the northern half, but the clearings will appear on the edges of the Channel and the Breton tip. The sun will be generous in the south. In the afternoon, the showers will increase between Hauts-de-France, the Paris region, the Grand Est, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, Lyonnais and the Alps.
The thinnings will, on the contrary, become very beautiful in the west, over Brittany, Normandy, the Pays de la Loire, the Centre, Limousin and Auvergne, as far as the Cévennes. The sun will also remain further south, between Provence, the Gulf of Lion and the south of the Garonne.
Temperatures will still be cool for the season, 1-3 degrees below normal. They will be between 1 and 6 degrees, a little more towards the Côte d’Azur.
In the afternoon, the weather will remain cool between the North and the Center-East with 11 to 15 degrees. The mercury will settle close to seasonal averages elsewhere with 16 to 20 degrees, locally 22 in Roussillon.
