Adam Waterworth appointed as CEO of Goodwood

Goodwood has named Adam Waterworth as its new chief executive officer. Waterworth, who has been a part of the Goodwood team for more than 14 years, will officially take on the role starting October 1, taking over from Chris Woodgate, who has been in charge for the past seven years.

During his time at Goodwood, Waterworth has held various senior positions, with his most recent role being the events managing director. In this position, he expanded his responsibilities from overseeing horseracing events to managing all of the estate’s headline events in 2020. Before joining Goodwood, he also gained experience in different roles at various racecourses across the UK.

The executive chairman of the Goodwood Estate, Duke of Richmond, expressed his excitement about Waterworth’s appointment, highlighting his proven leadership skills and track record of success.
