Alex Iwobi, a former Arsenal football player, has recently launched a new music project following the success of his debut single released earlier this year. The first track, titled ‘Don’t Shoot’, featured his fellow Arsenal academy graduate Chuba Akpom and former England youth international Medy Elito. Now, Iwobi has released a second single called ‘What’s Luv?’ in collaboration with his close friend SPKS and another artist, MBrown.

Despite being the first Premier League footballer to release music under his own name, Iwobi is determined to make a mark in the music industry. He explained, “Music has always been a passion of mine and a way for me to express myself away from football. I believe that music is a powerful tool, and I have always used it as a productive way to share my feelings.”

Growing up in a challenging area of London, Iwobi understands the struggles that young people face. He is grateful for the platform he has to make a positive impact and hopes that his music can inspire others to pursue their dreams and focus on positive endeavors.

Iwobi emphasized that creating music does not detract from his dedication to football. Instead, it serves as a way for him to relax and unwind. He remains committed to working hard and improving in his sport while also pursuing his passion for music in his spare time.

By venturing into the music industry, Alex Iwobi is breaking barriers and showing that individuals are not limited to one path in life. His music is not only a form of self-expression but also a means of empowering young people to embrace their uniqueness and strive for success in various areas of their lives.
