Monday night’s District 11 Class 5A boys basketball semifinals at Pleasant Valley were unkind to Lehigh Valley schools.
No. 7 Central Catholic dropped a 41-39 thriller to No. 6 East Stroudsburg North and in the nightcap, top-seeded Bangor couldn’t match No. 4 Pottsville’s physicality in a 48-35 loss.
The Timberwolves and Crimson Tide will square off in Thursday’s 7 p.m. championship at Blue Mountain High School.
