Fontaines D.C. and Bohemians Join Forces for Medical Aid for Palestine
Fontaines D.C., the renowned Irish rock band, has teamed up with Dublin’s Bohemians FC to create a special one-off jersey to support Medical Aid for Palestine. This unique collaboration aims to raise crucial funds for a noble cause while celebrating the band’s two sold-out shows at Dublin’s 3Arena this weekend.
Design and Inspiration
The jersey, designed by Fontaines D.C. guitarist Carlos O’Connell in partnership with Bohemian FC designers, features the band’s iconic logo prominently displayed on the Irish club’s 2025 third alternative jersey. This initiative follows the band’s previous charitable efforts, such as releasing a collaborative away shirt in 2021 to support a homeless charity.
The Launch
Accompanied by a captivating video shot by Jamie Goldrick set to the band’s track ‘Horseness is the Whatness’ from their ROMANCE album, the launch of the jersey draws inspiration from Fontaines D.C.’s previous videos showcasing various locations around Dalymount Park, the home of Bohemians. The jersey also bears a poignant quote from the track, “I thought it was love”, printed around the neck, along with an embroidered hem tag featuring a Palestinian flag and the words ‘Saoirse don Phalaistín’.
Availability and Sale
The exclusive jersey is now available for purchase online and will begin shipping from Monday, December 9. To commemorate this collaboration and Fontaines D.C.’s upcoming shows at the 3Arena, the jerseys will be on sale at Dalymount Park on Friday, December 6, and Saturday, December 7, from 4pm to 6pm.
