Harry Redknapp, a well-known manager in football, is now setting his sights on the Cheltenham Festival with his horse Bowtogreatness. After winning the 2m7½f novice handicap chase, Redknapp, who co-owns the horse with Sophie Pauling, is hopeful that Bowtogreatness can make an appearance at Prestbury Park in the spring.

Bowtogreatness had struggled in previous attempts over fences but finally found success in his 13th try. The National Hunt Chase is being considered as a potential race for the horse with professional riders now being allowed to compete in it.

Ben Pauling, the trainer, expressed his confidence in Bowtogreatness despite his past challenges. He believes that the horse has a lot to offer and is looking forward to seeing him progress in his racing career.

Another standout performer at the recent races was Listentoyourheart, trained by Dan Skelton. The five-year-old mare won an easy victory in the 2m½f mares’ novice hurdle and is now being considered for a Listed event at Cheltenham on Coral Gold Cup day.

American Sniper, ridden by Jack Tudor, secured a place at the Cheltenham Festival in March after winning the 3m Pertemps qualifier. The six-year-old horse finished just ahead of Emitom in a close race.

In the 2m½f bumper race, El Cairos, trained by Gary Moore and owned by David Maxwell, impressed with a dominant performance. Maxwell, who is close to reaching a milestone in his career, praised the horse for its toughness and racing instincts.

Overall, the recent races have showcased the talent and determination of both horses and riders, setting the stage for an exciting upcoming season in horse racing. Fans can look forward to seeing these competitors in action at prestigious events like the Cheltenham Festival.
