Ariarne Titmus, the swimming sensation, has put her family home in Chelmer, Brisbane, up for sale with an asking price ranging from $2.35m to $2.55m. This news comes after she broke the world record for the 200m freestyle at the Australian trials, adding to the fame of her former residence.

The four-bedroom house, designed in a Hamptons style, failed to sell at auction despite attracting multiple registered bidders. Marketed by Ann-Karyn Fraser of Place New Farm, the property was custom-built for Ariarne’s parents, Steve and Robyn. Steve is a co-anchor of Channel Seven Gold Coast News, while Robyn works as a recruitment consultant.

Located close to Ariarne’s training facilities and her former high school, the home features a pool and spans two levels on a 445 sqm block. Ariarne moved out of the house in December 2023 and currently owns a three-bedroom unit in Teneriffe, purchased for $1.65m in June 2022.

The unit is rented out and offers amenities such as a rooftop pool with city and river views, barbecue facilities, and private dining areas. As all eyes turn to Ariarne’s performance in the upcoming Paris Olympics, there is anticipation for her to potentially surpass the achievements of legendary Australian swimmers like Dawn Fraser, Ian Thorpe, and Shane Gould by repeating her 200m-400m double from Tokyo.

Ariarne’s success in the pool has brought attention to her personal life, including the sale of her family home. As she continues her training and prepares for the Paris Olympics, the spotlight remains on her journey and the potential for more record-breaking performances in the future.
