Rugby World Cup: on which channel to watch the France-New Zealand match?

The Rugby World Cup begins this Friday in France with the inaugural clash between the Blues and the All Blacks. The match will be broadcast live on TF1, which will take the air from 7:10 p.m. with a special edition of the news presented from the Stade de France by Anne-Claire Coudray and Isabelle Ithurburu. Great rugby figures will be present, notably Frédéric Michalak, top scorer in the history of the French XV, and Sébastien Chabal, former third row of the Blues. Former All Blacks star Dan Carter will also be there.

At 8 p.m., the opening ceremony, organized by Jean Dujardin, will be broadcast on the channel and commentated by Anne-Claire Coudray and Isabelle Ithurburu.

The match will kick off at 9:15 p.m., with a commentator duo composed of journalist and former player François Trillo, accompanied by former international Benjamin Kayser. They will be joined by Christian Califano, former French international and consultant on TF1 since 2011, who will officiate on the sidelines.

Finally, at the end of the meeting, The Rugby World Cup Mag will be presented by Isabelle Ithurburu. She will be accompanied by Marjorie Mayans, elected best player in the French XV during the 2020-2021 season, Frédéric Michalak, Yannick Nyanga, quadruple French champion and coach of the Racing 92 hopefuls, former international Yoann Huget and finally from the journalist Inès Hirigoyen, who will be the magazine’s special correspondent to the French team.
