A 45-year-old rider, a resident of Arévalo (Ávila), died this Sunday at the Mx Los Patos motocross circuit, in the small Avila town of San Esteban de los Patos, located about 17 kilometers north of the capital.
The event occurred around 10:52 a.m., when a call to the Emergency Service 112 of Castilla y León requested the presence of the Civil Guard in this circuit where, starting at 11:00, the IX Trophy was going to be held. Motocross Los Patos MX.
The whistleblower has indicated that one of the participants in the test, a man of about 45 years old, had suffered an accident before starting the competition and the doctor, present at the scene, had confirmed his death.
At that moment, the 112 operations room notified the Civil Guard and Sacyl, for information purposes.
At 11:00 in the morning the last test of the motocross season was scheduled to begin in the province of Ávila and the one that closed the Championship of Castilla y León in the categories of MX 85 cubic centimeters, Master, Classic 80, Pre 84 and Pre 96.
The trophy, which has been suspended, had the participation of 42 pilots in all categories.
