Furniture Row Racing’s Martin Truex Jr. was seventh in the Sultanbet first race, while JTG Daugherty Racing’s Chris Buescher was 16th in that first race and Buescher teammate AJ Allmendinger was fourth in the second race — but they all had their finishes disallowed for failing tech.

Allmendinger would have started 10th, Truex 13th and Buescher 32nd in Sunday’s Daytona 500, but they now will start at the rear of the field.

Allmendinger will not receive the seven points he’d earned with his finish and Truex won’t receive the four he had earned.
