Ultimate Fighting Championship Fan Spends $67,000 for Third Row Ticket

Two weeks have passed since the UFC’s big pay-per-view event at The Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada. Sean O’Malley lost his Bantamweight championship to Merab Dvalishvili. The event was a huge success but also very expensive for fans and UFC officials. However, one fan took it to the next level. Canadian YouTuber Troydan shared in a video that he spent a whopping $67,000 on a third-row floor ticket to UFC 306.

Yes, you read that right… $67,000. Surprisingly, Troydan’s ticket was bought by his friend’s mother, who also purchased a second ticket for the same price. So, what did Troydan get for nearly $100,000? He received a VIP entrance, post-fight Octagon experience, post weigh-in reception with UFC athletes, in-venue hospitality with meet and greets, and a reserved seat for ceremonial weigh-ins with more meet and greets. He even paid extra money for a spot on the Octagon floor with his name on it.

In his video, Troydan described the event as “the greatest sporting event of all time,” although his reaction was similar to what most others thought – a bit uncertain. He mentioned that while the fights weren’t the best, The Sphere was the most unique arena he had ever been to, and the backgrounds were incredible.

Looking at it objectively, $67,000 for fight tickets seems extremely excessive. You could buy a new car or make a nice down payment on a house with that amount of money. But in the end, it wasn’t our money, so does it really matter?
