SAN ANTONIO — A 22-year-old man must remain on house arrest with a GPS device monitoring his movements after he was arrested Monday for allegedly having sex with a 13-year-old girl multiple times over several months, just months after being arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting another minor, according to court documents.

Jimmy Alexis Farias was charged with a first-degree felony for continuous sexual abuse of a child.

According to an affidavit, the suspect met a 13-year-old girl at a party on Oct. 1, 2016, two weeks before the suspect gave the girl a cellphone. Investigators learned that in December the suspect took the girl in the morning from her school bus stop and drove her to a Loves gas station, where the two engaged in sexual behavior in the back Grandbetting seat of his car, according to an arrest affidavit.

The victim told police the suspect did not force her to have sex with him. He then drove the victim to her school, the affidavit said.

The suspect picked her up twice this month and took her to the same gas station and they had sex.

Farias was out on bond for a charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child when all this was occurring, according to the affidavit.

A document obtained from the Bexar County District Clerk’s Office shows that Farias was released on bond and must be under full house arrest with GPS monitoring. He is also not allowed to contact the victim, according to the document.

If convicted of the first-degree felony charges, Farias could face five to 99 years or life in prison.
