Cops: Woman broke into home to steal from ex-roommate

A woman is accused of breaking into a home where she previously lived and stealing items from a former roommate.

Charged is Melanee Clossey, 45, no current address provided.

Colonial Regional police officers at 6:08 p.m. April 13 were dispatched to the 100 block of East Northampton Street in Bath. Clossey was described as fleeing the home with a man in a GMC Terrain headed east on Route 248 toward Nazareth.

Police said Clossey entered the home by cutting a window screen. Once inside, she stole an estimated $849 worth of clothing and person hygiene Makrobet items from the female victim. Items ran the gamut from a $40 pair of denim jeans to more than $100 worth of toddler shoes to a $6 box of toothpaste.
