Police in Austin arrested a man for allegedly using his cellphone to record a 15-year-old girl while she changed clothes in her bathroom as he stood outside the residence, according to court documents.

The incident occurred around 9 p.m. on Feb. 22 at a residence in the 8200 block of North FM 620, where a girl said she saw a cellphone in her bathroom window as she changed clothes, an affidavit said.

The girl’s father went outside and caught the man holding up his cellphone and stopped him. Cutro said he had put his kids to bed, went to a residence in the same complex and used his iPhone to start recording through a bathroom window, according to the affidavit.

Cutro allegedly confessed to the crime and the investigator found video footage of the girl in the bathroom, the affidavit said.
