A structure fire early this morning in Broomfield injured one person and damaged two houses and a camper.
Crews responded to the fire around 2 a.m. in the 800 block of Eigth Avenue in Broomfield, according to tweets from the North Metro Fire District.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire in the two houses and the camper, but the fire ignited a nearby gas meter. Fire crews were able to keep the fire from spreading while the gas company responded to shut off the gas line.
One person was transported to the hospital with injuries, though it was not said how serious the injuries were.
No cause has been identified at this time.
