Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) – As of this Tuesday (9:00 a.m.), the managing director of a building management company has to answer to the Frankfurt Regional Court for aiding and abetting embezzlement of around 1.6 million euros. The 51-year-old accused is accused of having caused a major bank to pay out the money with bogus invoices. On the bank’s side, the unfounded payments were made possible by a manager who has since died, who only forwarded 200,000 euros of the money to the accused. The Economic Criminal Court wants to complete the process at the end of November.
