Moisés and Fernando continue with their particular pulse in Pasapalabra. Both contestants dream of winning the jackpot and, to achieve it, they have the invaluable help of celebrities who parade for a few days on the Antena 3 program. On this occasion, the presenter Roberto Leal has welcomed Loreto and Marta Valverde, Manuel Bandera and David Castillo. Let’s get to know this latest guest a little better.

The children are passing by and perhaps more than one has to frown while searching the memory to locate this actor. But it would be enough to say a name and a television series to clear up any hint of doubt: Jonathan, from ‘Aída’.

Yes, David Castillo, born in Fuenlabrada 30 years ago, rose to fame with the role of Aída’s young and rebellious son. Thanks to the character of Jonathan, viewers saw the actor grow in front of the cameras. When the series began (in 2005), Castillo was 13 years old and when it ended, 22 (2014).

Last January it was 18 years since the premiere of Aída on Telecinco. Castillo wrote some nice words on Instagram for the anniversary: ”18 years now. Growing up in Aída has brought many emotions, I will not deny it. But if I look back, I smile and I can only thank all of you who taught me what it is to love the profession and life. Thank you. “

Although that series was his great opportunity, which he did not let go, Castillo already had a previous artistic career. And it is that the one from Fuenlabrada made his debut as an actor at the age of seven when he entered the world of advertising. He then made a couple of sporadic appearances in the series Hospital Central (2003) and Ana y los 7 (2004) and later, he received a fixed role in the series Manolito Gafotas (2004). He even had time to take his first steps in the cinema in the 2004 films Puppy and The Seventh Day.

Already during his time as Jonathan, the actor had time to return to the big screen with work in El diario de Carlota and Torrente 4: Lethal Crisis.

However, it has been in the theater where Castillo has devoted a good part of his career in recent years, acting in works such as Münchhausen, Still Life in a Ditch (2012/2013), Emilia (2014) or more recently Homecoming (2022).

The Fuenlabreño has not stopped appearing on the small screen either. Among other projects, he was recruited in 2018 to be part of the cast of the seventh season of Amar is forever and he was the squire Lisardo in the Amazon Prime Video series El Cid (2020).
