Löcknitz (dpa / mv) – Because she fell asleep briefly while driving, a 65-year-old in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district caused an accident with her car. The woman came off the road in Löcknitz on Monday night and crashed into a parked car, the police said. The driver and her 68-year-old passenger were slightly injured. Rescue workers took the two to a clinic in Pasewalk. The two vehicles had to be towed away, according to the police, there was property damage of around 17,000 euros. Now the 65-year-old is expecting a preliminary investigation into negligent bodily harm and endangering road traffic.
