A woman lost her life this Wednesday after falling down the stairwell of a residential building in Salamanca. The property is located at number 6 of the Plaza de Gabriel y Galán, as reported by the 112 Castilla y León Emergency service.
A neighbor found the woman in the basement and called 112 around 11:20 a.m., who sent an ambulance to the scene. The toilets could only certify the death of the woman, about 60 years of age.
Several teams from the Local Police and the National Police Force went to the scene and have opened an investigation to clarify what happened, although everything seems to indicate that there is no intervention by third parties, according to the digital newspaper La Crónica de Salamanca.
