Since February 1, 2023, aid from the central and regional government has reduced the price of Madrid transport passes by 60%, a measure approved to alleviate the consequences of the War in Ukraine. Well, these discounts will not end on June 30, but will continue, as Isabel Díaz Ayuso has announced: “I announce that we are going to extend this reduction of 60% of the price of the monthly public transport passes until the end of the year and 50 % multi-trip titles”.

Thus, the prices of the Madrid transport passes will be maintained as follows:

The single Metro ticket will cost 1.5 euros regardless of the number of stations to be covered. Free public transport for people with a degree of disability equal to or greater than 65% will also be applied.

Likewise, 10-journey tickets for Metro, Light Metro and EMT remain at 6.10 euros as long as they are used within zone A. Recharges on multi-journey cards will continue with a 50% discount.
