The fast-food restaurant was constructed instead of the Dutch Inn — that was demolished last season — between McDonald’s and Panda Express.

A Starbucks will be built supporting Chick-fil-A and alongside McDonald’s along Route 273. Land farther back from Chick-fil-A has been prepared for a future retail growth around 20,000 square feet in size.

Chick-fil-A is expected to start at least an additional place in New Castle County this past year.

The next restaurant is under structure in the Prices Corner shopping centre, which is nearing the final phases of a multiyear redevelopment complemented by a brand new Target. It’ll take one of 2 brand new pad websites substituting the Sears Auto Center adjacent to the Target across Kirkwood Highway.

Deborah Mills Houston of Robbins Property Management, which will be overseeing the redevelopment of the shopping centre, said she anticipates that the Chick-fil-A to open in late night.

Chick-fil-A is also planning a new restaurant at Newark in the Aetna Hose Hook and Ladder center on Ogletown Road alongside a SpringHill Suites plus a Wawa. The firehouse and feast hall closed this past year.

Chick-fil-A has not provided a schedule for the Newark place’s opening, stating the restaurant is”still early in the procedure.”
