Injured climber has been airlifted to protection mountain in Little Cottonwood Canyon

A climber at Utah has been rescued Sunday from a mountainous region called”Certain Death” following a huge rock”that the size of a fridge” rolled together with him, officials said.

Rescue crews reacted around 4 p.m. into some call of an injured climber at the northeast Buttress region of Little Cottonwood Canyon, that is part of this Wasatch-Cache National Forest situated about 15 kilometers from Salt Lake City, the Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue stated in an announcement .

Two climbers were digging new paths in a waterfront region over a place referred to as”Certain Death” if the incident took place, the announcement said.

“One climber had pulled a sizable rock the size of a fridge that wrapped on top of him,” the division said.

Two floor teams were delivered to achieve the climbers but officials explained that the challenging terrain and terrain of the climber’s accidents rather took a helicopter to airlift him off the mountain.

Officials didn’t elaborate on the climber’s accidents or offer an update on his situation.
