This Monday the launch of the SpaceX Starship rocket was expected from Boca Chica, Texas (USA). However, a last-minute technical problem forced the postponement of takeoff.

From Elon Musk’s company they have indicated that it will take at least 48 hours to solve the setbacks. So when will the new launch attempt arrive?

The new takeoff window will open this Thursday, April 20, at 08:28 local time (15:28 Spanish peninsular time) for just over an hour, the company has reported.

The launch of Starship can be followed live on the official SpaceX YouTube page.

Starship is the multipurpose space transportation system with which SpaceX not only wants to make satellite launches and missions with astronauts cheaper and more expensive, but is also the axis of its ambitious plans for the future to explore Earth orbit, the Moon and Mars says Teresa Guerrero.

The vehicle consists of two integrated parts: the Super Heavy rocket, 69 meters high, and the upper part, also called the Starship, 50 meters high, which is where people and satellites will go, which is called the payload, on future missions. In fact, SpaceX ensures that the ship could carry one hundred people on long-term missions.

The test flight, the first in which it will test the complete system, will consist of flying around the Earth at an altitude of about 100 kilometers. The two components have been tested separately on several occasions.
