The National Police has arrested three “highly radicalized” minors who obtained various explosives manufacturing manuals, including the one popularly known as Mother of Satan, highly destructive and widely used by jihadist terrorists.

Two of the arrests, as reported by the National Police, occurred in Madrid and the third in Barcelona. The three have been placed at the disposal of the Juvenile Section of the National Court Prosecutor’s Office as alleged perpetrators of the crimes of indoctrination, terrorist self-training and murder conspiracy.

Through cyber patrolling, the researchers detected the existence of different profiles that professed a jihadist ideology. They advocated and justified the use of violence in defense of the Islamic religion, praised the members of terrorist groups and identified possible objectives.

According to the Police in a note, the detainees even showed their intention to commit direct action against “apostates”, for which they had already begun a “distribution of tasks”, including the manufacture of explosives.

The detainees are “young students, minors, highly radicalized and with an ideology entirely compatible with the jihadist postulates defended by the terrorist organization DAESH,” according to the Police.

In addition to the three arrests, in the early hours of last Monday the agents carried out three entries and searches, in which a large number of electronic elements and different documentation were involved that are being analyzed by specialized investigators.

The operation, developed by the General Information Commission, has had the collaboration of the Provincial Information Brigades of Valencia, Madrid and Barcelona, being under the direction of the Minors Section of the National Court Prosecutor’s Office.
