Mörfelden (dpa / lhe) – A 61-year-old was about 100 kilometers per hour too fast on the Autobahn 5 near Mörfelden (Groß-Gerau district). Civil investigators caught the driver of an Italian luxury car on Tuesday at 199 kilometers per hour, where 100 would have been allowed, as the police headquarters in southern Hesse in Darmstadt announced on Wednesday. The 61-year-old racer lost his driver’s license for three months. He also has to pay a fine of 700 euros and receives two points in Flensburg.
