Bad Kissingen (dpa / lby) – Unknown people beat up a man in Lower Franconia in front of a bakery and severely injured his head. The 40-year-old was at the bakery in Bad Kissingen on Saturday morning to shop for his breakfast, police said. It was not immediately known why the strangers attacked the man.
As he left the store, two men approached him and asked if he had change, police said. Suddenly and without making any demands, one of the perpetrators punched him in the face. The victim fell to the ground. The perpetrators kicked the defenseless man. They then fled in a pickup truck. The victim was taken to a hospital with serious head injuries. The search measures that were initiated were initially unsuccessful. The police has started investigation.
