Schonach (dpa / lsw) – The Nordic Combined World Cup in Schonach can take place as planned. Inspector Joachim Bruder from the international ski association Fis on Thursday removed the last small doubts about holding the competitions between February 10th and 12th. “Schonach rarely had so much snow in the run-up to a World Cup weekend,” said Bruder. The ski jump and the cross-country ski run are in excellent condition and the weather forecast was right, according to Bruder.

Due to high temperatures and the lack of snow, the organizers had expressed doubts in mid-January as to whether the men’s and women’s World Cup could actually take place.
