Boizenburg (dpa / mv) – A 52-year-old driver near Boizenburg was seriously injured in a collision with a car. A 76-year-old drove his vehicle into oncoming traffic in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district on Thursday afternoon and initially collided with the trailer of an oncoming truck, the police said. The man then crashed his car into the guardrail and then into the 52-year-old’s car. The seriously injured woman was taken to the hospital, the 76-year-old who caused the accident suffered minor injuries. The police estimate the damage to property at 100,000 euros.
