Kamp-Lintfort (dpa / lnw) – Six people were slightly injured in the fire in a residential facility of the Rhineland Regional Council (LVR) in Kamp-Lintfort (Wesel district). The fire broke out on Thursday afternoon on the first floor of the assisted living community for adults with intellectual disabilities, police said. Accordingly, the injured are five employees and a 54-year-old resident. They came to hospitals. Since the ground floor is uninhabitable, according to the police, the residents have been accommodated in other facilities. It was initially unclear why the fire broke out. The police took over the investigation into the cause of the fire.
