Created in 2016, AXA Venture Partners (AVP) is a subsidiary of the eponymous French insurance giant. Specialized in venture capital, it manages 1.3 billion euros to invest in high-growth technology companies (more than 60). It has just announced the launch of a new fund of 1.5 billion euros. Its 40 employees are divided between Paris, London and New York. François Robinet (56, Ensae, Stanford), based in France, is managing partner and managing director of AVP. Elizabeth de Saint-Aignan (48, Brown, Harvard), managing partner, oversees investment activity in high-growth companies before their IPO (Late Growth) from the United States. Imran Akram (43, Oxford), Benoit Fosseprez (49, Edhec) and Alex Scherbakovsky (47, Stanford, Harvard) are the managing partners responsible for identifying and financing growth companies (Growth). Manish Agarwal (50 years old, Indian Institute of Technology, Carnegie Mellon), also managing partner, does the same for young companies (Early Stage). Marc Lewden (51 years old, Lumière University of Lyon, Columbia) is the financial director of AVP. Sébastien Loubry (44 years old, Sciences Po Paris, Dauphine, Insead) is the partner in charge of business development and communication. Finally, Dominic Maier (37 years old, Lancaster University Management School, Icas) is the partner who manages the fund of funds branch § F. M.
