More than a week after the “Saint-Denis consultations” between Emmanuel Macron and the heads of political parties, Wednesday August 30, the Head of State sent them a six-page letter to summarize their exchanges.

Here are the three main points raised in writing by the President of the Republic.

The Head of State then pledged that Parliament would be able to debate this fall on France’s strategy in Africa and the Sahel, where its military presence is contested in several countries, most recently in Niger and the Gabon.
