Aragón A councilor from a town in Zaragoza resigns after being caught stealing a bottle of sexual lubricant in a pharmacy

Antonio Lahuerta Sopesens, councilor of Utebo, accused of allegedly stealing a bottle of sexual lubricant in a pharmacy in the aforementioned Zaragoza town, has communicated his resignation to the rest of the councilors of the corporation and to his party, the Federation of Independents of Aragon (FIA). .

He argues that he makes the decision “for health and peace of mind” and maintains that “the information is not entirely like that, but I think I should channel all my strength, which is zero, into myself.”

In the writing, which is published this Saturday by El Periódico de Aragón, Lahuerta indicates that he feels “with all his heart everything that is happening” and refers to the fact that “the campaign to sink Toño is going very well.”

Two months ago the local FIA group abandoned the formation due to disagreements with the project and the “excessive personalism” that Lahuerta had acquired after obtaining two councilors in the Utebo City Council in the last municipal elections.

In the municipality near the capital, with about 18,900 inhabitants, the PP governs, with seven councillors, and the support of Vox (2) while the opposition is made up, in addition to FIA, PSOE (4) and IU (2).

The statement announcing his resignation concludes by stating that “now my only goal is to heal and take care of myself.”

The mayor is accused (informed) of allegedly taking the bottle of lubricant last weekend, taking advantage of the fact that at that time there were several customers in the pharmacy.

When it came time to count, the person in charge of the establishment missed the aforementioned product, so she decided to view the security cameras installed in the premises.

Upon verifying that a man had appropriated the boat, he notified the Utebo Local Police, whose agents recognized the FIA ??councilor when reviewing the camera recording.

Subsequently, the pharmacist filed the corresponding complaint and the Civil Guard has opened proceedings against the mayor who is being investigated for an alleged minor crime of theft.

In statements to El Periódico de Aragón, Lahuerta explained that it was “a misunderstanding” and “a misinterpretation” of the situation. In reference to the bottle of lubricant, he added that “having it in my hand made me uncomfortable, I didn’t know how to react and I immediately went to rectify it.”

With the announcement of his resignation, Antonio Lahuerta puts an end to a new chapter in his political career, which began as a socialist councilor, a group that he left in 2012, leaving the Utebo government team, formed by PSOE and IU, in the minority.

He kept the minutes, became an assigned councilor and during that term he agreed with CHA and PP. Later, he joined Unión Progreso y Democracia (UPyD), then Ciudadanos and finally ended up in FIA.
