He was one of the best-known hairdressers in Germany, and many stars were among his customers. After years of fighting the disease, hairdresser Sebastian Böhn died of cancer. Celebrities are dismayed.
The Magdeburg star hairdresser Sebastian Böhm died at the age of 36. This was announced by the team at his hairdressing salon Hairricane on the official Facebook page. “We are deeply dismayed and sad to have to tell you that our beloved Basti has left us. Rest In Peace,” says a black and white photo of the hairdresser.
Sebastian Böhm struggled with leukemia. At first he had conquered the cancer, but the disease came back, as he announced in November 2021. “After surviving chemotherapy last year, leukemia broke out again,” he explained via Instagram at the time. A cure is only possible with stem cell donation, it said.
Böhm styled stars like Tokio Hotel frontman Bill Kaulitz or pop singer Andrea Berg. International stars like Shakira were also among his customers. Some of his famous clients have already reacted to the sad news. TV actor Julian F. M. Stoeckel explained: “I can’t believe it.”
Moderator Jana Ina Zarrella was also affected: “My heartfelt condolences. I can’t believe it… I’m incredibly sad….” The singer wrote under the post: “May the good Lord hold his gracious hands over you and yours immortal soul and protect your loved ones.” The salon announced that it would remain “closed for the time being”. The doors are scheduled to open again on November 21st.
