Villingen-Schwenningen (dpa/lsw) – Four people were seriously injured in a head-on collision on a district road in the Black Forest-Baar district on Whit Monday – including a seven-year-old. A 62-year-old drove into oncoming traffic with her car in the direction of Marbach for an unknown reason and collided with the car of a 64-year-old, the police said. A car that was driving behind the woman also collided easily with her car.
The 62-year-old and a seven-year-old boy in their car suffered serious injuries, as did the 64-year-old driver and his 61-year-old passenger. They were taken to local clinics and three rescue helicopters were deployed. The occupants of the third vehicle involved were not injured. The district road around the scene of the accident was closed for around three and a half hours.
