Burgstetten (dpa / lsw) – An 81-year-old driver and two passengers crashed into a residential building with a car in Burgstetten in the Rems-Murr district and were injured. A 77-year-old passenger was seriously injured on Wednesday evening, the police said on Thursday night.

The driver had previously picked up the two passengers at a junction. As she pulled away, she first reversed into a flower bed, then forward down a sloping road. In a left turn, she came off the road, drove through two gardens and then collided with a residential building. The cause of the accident was initially unclear.
