Bavaria: Attacks with beer bottles and a crutch at the main station

Munich (dpa / lby) – Several men attacked each other in two incidents at Munich Central Station and used, among other things, beer bottles and a crutch as a weapon. A 30-year-old homeless man threw a beer bottle at the feet of a 29-year-old during the night from Friday to Saturday, the federal police said on Sunday. The two men had previously argued verbally. The 29-year-old walked away, came back shortly after and slapped the other in the face.

The 30-year-old then took two full beer bottles and threw them at the opponent. Nobody was injured. The police took both men to the station. In contrast to the other, the 29-year-old was allowed to leave it again. According to the police, the 30-year-old injured himself in the cell and was taken to a clinic. There he tried to spit on a police officer and bit his finger. After consultation with the public prosecutor’s office, he was brought before the magistrate.

In another incident at Munich Central Station, a 40-year-old hit a 19-year-old man in the face and back with his crutch. As a result, he suffered a laceration and other injuries during the night from Friday to Saturday, according to the federal police. A breath alcohol test revealed a value of 2.6 per mille for the 40-year-old without a residence. The man was also brought before the magistrate.
