Alfeld (dpa / lby) – A 35-year-old drove his car head-on into a tractor in Central Franconia and died. The man got into oncoming traffic near Alfeld (Nuremberg district) for an initially unclear reason and collided with the oncoming tractor there, the police said. The man died at the scene of the accident. The 73-year-old tractor driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
