Munich (dpa / lby) – The soccer players of FC Bayern Munich are pushing ahead with their personnel planning for the coming season. The French international Emelyne Laurent (23) comes to the Isar from the Champions League record winner Olympique Lyon. “Emelyne is a very fast winger who feels at home both in attack and defense,” explained Bianca Rech, sporting director of the Bayern women, in a club statement on Thursday.
Laurent also played on loan for Girondins Bordeaux and Atlético Madrid while at Lyon. “I’m really looking forward to playing here from the summer,” said Laurent, who has signed a contract until 2025. “At FC Bayern, the players work and train very hard and well. This is where the potential is extracted from the players. That’s one of the reasons why I chose Bayern.”
