Members of the National Police have arrested a man in Huesca for allegedly intoxicating his 80-year-old father with narcotic substances.
As it has been known this Tuesday, within the framework of the collaboration between the health field and the National Police, on April 7 a communication was received from the Emergency Service of the San Jorge Hospital in Huesca, where they were treating a male 80-year-old man who had tested positive for cocaine in toxicology tests.
However, the patient could not give any explanation for the reason for this result, since he claimed not to be a drug user.
In addition, there was the circumstance that it was the second time that it had produced such positive results.
As reported by National Police sources on Tuesday, the old man was in the hospital accompanied by his son, who showed a “quite aggressive attitude.”
Faced with this situation, the doctors decided to report immediately to the police services.
The agents met at the hospital with all the parties and took steps by which they determined that the cause of the poisoning of the admitted patient was his own son.
Consequently, they proceeded to arrest him and bring him before the courts.
